GHMC Commissioner M Dana Kishore yesterday went round Ramanthapur and Amberpet areas and reviewed the road development works, especially about the proposed Rs 467.55 crore Amberpet Flyover works. Amberpet MLA Kaleru Venkatesh, National Highways Division ENC Ganapathi Reddy, GHMC Projects Division Chief Engineer Sridhar, Secunderabad Zonal Commissioner Raghuprasad, and officials of Water works, police and Transco and Genco officials were present.

Speaking on the occasion, Dana Kishore all the officials concerned to pay special attention to lay alternative roads and traffic movement



in view of the proposed huge flyovers to be built in Amberpet and Uppal areas. Stating that several properties and lands have to be acquired for the road development works, the Commissioner instructed the officials concerned to immediately demolish the acquired properties and remove the debris at the same time.

The Commissioner appealed to the local MLAs and corporators to extend cooperation for the expeditious road development works. Later, the Commissioner, accompanied by local MLA Kaleru Venkatesh inspected several problem areas.
