DCP South Zone Sathyanarayana warns old city people

Reacting on the incident took place at Babanagar in Chandrayanagutta in which a Hijra died on the spot, South Zone DCP Sathyanarayana has warned that the cases would be filed on the persons if attacked on suspects while taking the law into their hands.

It may be mentioned here that a Hijra died and two others injured severely in the attack of the Baba Nagar people



suspecting the Hijras as child lifters yesterday.

Sathyanarayana said that they obstructed the attack of the local people on hijras and shifted them to Osmania Hospital. He said that the local people also attacked Chandrayanagutta police station alleging that the police were extending their support to the suspects.
