There appears to be
no respite from the increasing number of cases of fever across Telangana. As
many as 14 dengue fever cases have been reported in the two State-run Osmania
General Hospital and Gandhi Hospital in the last two days.
As many as 150-160
viral fever cases were reported in Gandhi Hospital in last one week and nearly
37 dengue fever cases were reported in
Gandhi and Osmania General Hospitals
during this period.
Superintendent of Gandhi Hospital J Venkateshwar Reddy said that the main reason for the increase of diseases among the people was the weather conditions. He further said that weather was an important factor, because the organisms which grow in such weather would attack if a person’s body was weak.
