Director General of Police (DGP) Anjani Kumar on Thursday said that state departments should work in coordination to organise the prestigious G20 agriculture ministers' meeting which is to be held on June 15, 16 and 17 here.
He was speaking at a security coordination meeting with various departments at the DGP's office with regard to the security arrangements for the meeting.
Anjani Kumar said that a large number of ministers, higher officials, Union secretaries and eminent scientists from various countries would attend the meeting and appropriate
security arrangements were being made for all of them.
The DGP said that the meeting would be useful to showcase Hyderabad as a hi-tech city. The concerned central organisations were advised to focus mainly on cybersecurity. A separate multi-agency command control room has been set up to monitor security issues.
Meanwhile, director of culture department Harikrishna said that more than 300 artists are organising special exhibitions to introduce the cultural art forms of Telangana to the G20 meeting.
