Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President N. Uttam Kumar Reddy while addressing a series of road shows and street corner meetings in Huzurnagar constituency on Sunday said, “The end of KCR’s family and dictatorial rule will happen in another 10 days. There is no doubt about it. People of Telangana would win the war against the KCR family to restore democracy in Telangana.”

Mr Reddy alleged that both caretaker Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao  and caretaker minister K.T. Rama Rao acted as brokers and mortgaged the interest of Telangana before the BJP government at the Centre. He said, “KCR has no moral right to speak anything about the People’s Front. The Congress, the TD, the TJS and the CPI have formed an open and legitimate pre-poll alliance. However, KCR has been maintaining an illegitimate relationship with the BJP since the last four years. While we are proud that we’ve joined hands for

benefit of people of Telangana, KCR is shamelessly maintaining an illicit relationship with the BJP for his own benefits, to save himself from the CBI and to protect his ill-gotten wealth.”

The TPCC chief said that said both KCR and KTR should first speak about their ‘Promises vs Performance’ in the last four years before making any fresh promise. “Not even 1 per cent of the total promises made by KCR have been fulfilled and now he has come up with another bunch of lies to deceive the common people. KCR has already lost people’s trust and he is aware of that. Since he knew that he won’t be trusted anymore, he brought the TRS manifesto just two days before the end of campaign just to cheat the people for the last time. KCR might have thought people will not get time to compare the manifestoes of the People’s Front and the TRS,” he said.
