Dog bites 10-year-old, case registered against pet owner

Borabanda police registered a case against a pet owner after his dog bit a 10-year-old boy on Saturday night. The owner, T. Satish Kumar, who runs a fancy items store, has been charged with negligent conduct with respect to animals (IPC Section 295), on a complaint from the family of the victim,



Allamdaar.

Police said the victim, a Class IV student, had gone to a neighbouring lane while playing where the dog bit him on his left hand and in  the lower abdomen. Passersby chased the pet away. He was rushed to Osmania hospital, where he is being treated.
