Warangal, Sept 27 (Agency): Telangana Deputy CM Kadiam Srihari on Tuesday said that the state government will repair the roads damaged due to heavy rains throughout the state in the last one week.
Speaking at the review meeting at the Zilla Parishad meeting, Srihari said that the state government has already taken up the repairs of damaged road and would complete the same at a war-footing. He directed the officials to be on alert in case epidemics break out in the villages due to incessant rains. He directed the officials to speed out the relief operations
in the rain hit areas by supplying them the essential.
Expressing happiness over the fact that the rains have filled up the projects to their brim, the Deputy CM exuded confidence that there would be no threat to the crop seasons for the next two years. He said that the Chief Minister had directed him to ensure supply of Godavari water to Ramappa.
Srihari directed the officials to draft plan for the rabi crop and ensure timely help to the farmers.
MP Pasunoori Dayakar, MLAs A Ramesh, Challa Dharma Reddy and other officials were present.
