Deputy Chief Minister Mohd Mahmood Ali launched ‘online registration’ for admission to 71 schools being started by Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society across the State from this academic year.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Mahmood Ali said that the State Government is committed to the welfare of the minorities in the State. “Considering the backwardness of the community,

the government is starting the schools and would be spending around Rs. 80,000 on a student per year,” he said.

The schools are being started in all districts of the State. In the initial phase, 71 schools are being started and an equal number will be set up soon. Of the 71 schools, 35 schools are exclusively for the girl students. To register, one must login to: http: //tmreis.telangana.gov.in.
