Dy.CM Mahmood Ali inspects Nizamia Tibbi Hospital

The Health Minister, who visited the Nizamia Tibbi hospital along with Deputy Chief Minister Mahmood Ali, was shocked after checking the labour room and the operation theatre. 

He directed the officials to send estimates on an immediate basis and give proper shape to these two utilities. He was also upset after finding that the hospital was in dilapidated condition. He rebuked the officials for keeping him in dark about



the sorry conditions of the hospital and said that immediate steps should be taken to improve the conditions.

During the inspection, the Minister also received representations from different unions on the occasion. The Old Boys Association informed the Minister that the proposal to construct a new block for Nizamia Hospital was pending for two years although the hospital gets an average of 1,500 out-patients.
