Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali on Thursday launched the website www.telanganastatehajcommittee.com.
The Deputy CM, who reviewed the arrangements with 26 departments in view of the Haj Camp 2016 being organised from August 19 at the Haj House, instructed the officials to ensure that better services were extended to the pilgrims who would be embarking from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on August 21.
He announced that
the medication for preventing meningitis, seasonal influenza and other ailments would be provided from August 9 in all the districts of both the Telugu States.
Ali asked the Air India authorities to ensure that no Haj flight was delayed and all amenities were provided to the pilgrims, as was done last year. He asked it to be prepared to arrange for three more flights in view of the expected enhancement of Haj quota to both the States.
