EC issues notice for MLC seat in Telangana

Mr. Bhanwar lal, Chief Electoral Officer of Telangana issued notification yesterday for filling up the vacant seat of Telangana Legislative Council which had fallen vacant due to the resignation of R&B minister, Mr. T. Nageshwar Rao who was elected to Assembly from Warangal. The last



date of filing of nomination is 3rd October. Nominations would be scrutinized on 4th October. The last date of withdrawal is 6th October. If need be, election would take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on 17th October. Counting of votes would start at 5 p.m. on 17th October.
