Eight people killed in road accident in Kamareddy

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed distress about the loss of lives due to an accident in Kamareddy district of Telangana. 

In a tweet, Mr Modi expressed condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the injured. He said, two lakh rupees each from Prime Minister's National Relief Fund would be given to the



next of kin of the deceased. The Prime Minister said, the injured would be given 50 thousand rupees.

Yesterday evening, eight people including six women died and 17 others were injured in a head-on collision between a lorry and a minivan in Kamareddy district of Telangana.
