Eighteen Bikes Gutted as Repair Shop Catches Fire in Medchal

A fire broke out at a bike repair shop early on Thursday morning under Medchal police station limits, wherein 18 bikes were gutted. The incident occurred at Arjun Chauhan Bike Point at 7 am where the bikes were housed for repair works. Upon noticing the flames, residents nearly informed the fire department. A fire engine arrived at the spot and put ou the fire. Shop owner



Shankar claimed that around 18 bikes were damaged in the fire. 

The cause of the fire was not known. Property worth Rs.5 lakh was destroyed in the fire. “But there was no casualty,” said Medchal fire officer Prabhakar Reddy. A case has been registered by the police and the investigation is underway.
