Elderly couple found dead under suspicious circumstances in Uppal

An elderly couple was found dead under suspicious circumstances in their house at Sairam Nagar Colony in Uppal on Wednesday.

They are suspected to have died by suicide by consuming unknown poisonous substance.

According to the police, the couple identified



as D Suryanarayana Shastry (60) and his wife D Jagadeeshwari (56), were found lying dead in the bedroom.

The neighbours who grew suspicious alerted the police, who reached the spot and shifted the bodies to the Gandhi Hospital morgue for autopsy. The Uppal police are investigating.
