Telangana Bhavan saw a massive crowd on Wednesday when newly elected corporators and councillors turned up in large numbers to meet and greet TRS working president and MA&UD Minister KT Rama Rao.

The winners of the recently concluded municipal elections along with Ministers and MLAs turned up at the TRS headquarters where Rama Rao greeted them with patience and posed for photographs with them.

Winners from the erstwhile districts of Warangal, Mahabubnagar, Adilabad, Nalgonda and Khammam districts, led by Ministers S Niranjan Reddy, V Prashanth Reddy, Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Satyavathi Rathod and P Ajay Kumar, met Rama

Rao.

They spent most of the day with him sharing details of their performances in the municipal polls, discussing the elections and people’s response to the party’s work. They also assured him of working in tandem with the State government and TRS’ policies.

Rama Rao congratulated the corporators and councillors on their victory, and wanted them to work with commitment for the well-being of the people and development of their respective towns and cities. He also cautioned them against being negligent towards work, which could result in their dismissal as per the new Municipal Act.
