In Telangana, electioneering is in full swing with all major parties intensified campaigning across the state. Top leaders and star campaigners are campaigning for their respective party candidates who are in the fray.
TRS Chief K Chandrasekhar Rao has undertaken whirlwind electioneering at seven places including Kothagudem, Mulugu, Bhoopalpally and Manthani. He blamed BJP for not approving the hike in reservations for minorities despite the State Assembly passed a resolution. TRS senior leaders Harish Rao, K Tarakarama Rao and Kavita are also addressing roadshows.
BJP senior leader Rajnath Singh held a whirlwind visit to address election rallies at different locations as part of his second day campaign in the state. He alleged that the
TRS government failed on all accounts and women, students and farmers have gained nothing during the past four and half years. He said BJP only can take care of people’s welfare and development.
Speaking reporters in Hyderabad, Opposition leader in the Lok Sabha, Mallikarjun Kharge said advocating for secularism on one hand, the TRS and MIM are cooperating with the BJP. Senior Congress leader Jai Ram Ramesh who addressed election rallies at Sanga Reddy district said the golden Telangana State has become bankrupt one and there is an urgent need to refuse TRS.
Punjab Minister and Congress leader Navjoth Singh Sidhu said the NDA government failed in bringing back the black money from foreign land.
