Electoral rolls to be published on Feb 22

According to the election authorities, 1,74,966 new enrolments have been received, 1,455 have requested for deletion of their names and 10,371 applicants have requested for a change in name, address and other



details.

“The first-level checking of EVMs would be done from Monday at the Victory Playground indoor stadium in Esamiya Bazaar, Koti. The checking will be done under the supervision of officials and political party representatives among others,” said M Dana Kishore, the district election officer (DEO).
