A two-judge division bench of the Telangana High Court comprising Chief Justice Raghavendra Singh Chauhan and Justice A Abhishek Reddy adjourned by six months the police encounter case of the alleged rapists of the veterinary doctor.
The bench observed that the apex court’s order had clearly stated that bodies should be preserved until its further orders. Since
the matter was being considered by the apex court, the High Court would no longer enquire into the matter.
According to the orders of the apex court, the four bodies were preserved at the mortuary of the Gandhi Hospital and would be preserved until a direction is issued by the SC. Accordingly, the bench adjourned the case.
