ESL Narasimhan hosts 'At Home'

Governor ESL Narasimhan and his wife Vimala Narasimhan hosted a glittering ‘At Home’ at Raj Bhavan on Thursday evening to celebrate the 73rd Independence Day.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, several top government officials and senior leaders from different political parties attended the event.

This was the first ‘At Home’ hosted by Governor Narasimhan after he relinquished charge as the Governor of Andhra Pradesh, a responsibility he held until



recently. In the last five years when Narasimhan was Governor of both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, the Chief Ministers of the two States were invited for the event.

Senior Congress leaders N Uttam Kumar Reddy, K Jana Reddy, Md Ali Shabbir, TDP politburo member Ravula Chandrashekhar Reddy and TRS Rajya Sabha member J Santosh Kumar were among those who attended the get-together. Governor Narasimhan and his wife went around the Raj Bhavan lawns, where the guests gathered, and greeted them.
