EV charging rates in Telangana as per ToD tariff system

Telangana State Electricity Regulatory Council (TGERC) has reportedly fixed the tariff of electric vehicle (EV) charging as per Time of Day (ToD) tariff system.

Under the ToD tariff system, electricity charges

will vary based on the time of day. The current flat rate system will be replaced. During daytime, the tariff may decrease by up to 20 percent, benefiting consumers. Conversely, during night-time, the tariff will increase by the same amount.
