Hyderabad: On Monday, the Commissioner's Task Force (South Zone) and the Chandrayangutta Police conducted a joint operation in which two individuals were detained for their alleged involvement in the printing and distribution of fake Indian currency notes (FICN) in Telangana and other states.

As



many as Rs 27 lakhs worth of counterfeit currency notes and other materials were seized by the police during the operation.

The main suspect, Kasturi Ramesh Babu, is a car mechanic from Kosgi, Narayanpet District. He got into a financial bind during the lockdown and decided to make money illegally.
