Telangana Assembly is continuing to witness political heat over the issues pertaining to the farmers as a war of words were exchanged between the Opposition Congress and the ruling TRS party.
Addressing the Assembly Session during the Question Hour, Congress MLA Jeevan Reddy alleged that the state government failed to provide the subsidy, bonus and minimum support price (MSP) to the farmers
whose crops got affected due to unseasonal and untimely rains.
He further announced that the Congress party was staging a walk-out.
Responding to the allegations, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said that ‘Rythu Samanvaya Committee' has already been formed in this regard and will be looking after all the issues related to the farmers’ concerns.
