Fire broke out at Korutla MLA’s camp office in Jagtial:

Jagtial: Fire broke out in the camp office of the Korutla MLA K Vidhyasagar Rao in Metpalli on Friday night. The legislator’s wife Saroja sustained injuries in the incident. She has been shifted to Yashodha hospital, Hyderabad for treatment.

The incident occurred while Saroja was preparing snacks in the kitchen located on the first floor of the camp



office.

According to family members, fire broke out due to leakage of gas from an LPG cylinder. Flames engulfed the entire kitchen and other areas as the cylinder went off. Saroja sustained burning injuries on half of her body.

She was immediately shifted to Yashodha hospital, Hyderabad. The condition of Saroja was stable, said Dr Sanjay, son of MLA.
