TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy on Friday said that the manifesto is like the Bible, the Quran and the Bhagavad Gita for the Congress and the party will implement all the promises in letter and spirit, if voted to power in Assembly polls.

He stated that the Six Guarantees announced by Congress leader Sonia Gandhi in September will be approved in the very first cabinet meeting of the new Congress government on December 9 and ensure that all the Six Guarantees come into force within 100 days of coming to power.

Addressing a meeting held at Gandhi Bhavan on the occasion of the release of Congress manifesto for Telangana Assembly polls, Revanth Reddy said, "Sonia Gandhi granted statehood to Telangana in 2014 to fulfil the dreams and aspirations of people of the state. But Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has shattered the dreams and aspirations of people with his misrule, corruption and family rule in the last nine years.

The Congress gave Telangana as a revenue surplus state but Chandrashekhar Rao pushed Telangana into debt trap in nine years. People of Telangana want to get rid of the BRS misrule and are eagerly waiting for November 30 to oust the BRS from power," the state Congress chief said.

Claiming that the Congress wave is sweeping across Telangana, Revanth Reddy said people have taken a firm decision to give the

Congress an opportunity to form the government in Telangana.

CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, while terming the Congress manifesto as 'people's manifesto', said it will help in bringing people's government in the state.

Bhatti said that in the separate state of Telangana which was made a reality by Congress party and Sonia Gandhi the surplus fund meant to be distributed among people was swallowed by the rulers defeating the very purpose of Telangana.

He said if the Congress is voted to power it will do justice to the people in sharing funds, job appointments and water for which people fought for a long time. "BC sub-plan would be brought about for the development and well-being of backward classes," he said.

"As advocated by Rahul Gandhi, there is an imperative need of undertaking the OBC census", he said, adding that the Congress immediately after forming the government would order for the OBC census.

The CLP leader added that  the Congress manifesto was drafted after an enormous exercise on how best the wealth generated in the state could be distributed.

"The ongoing elections are between Dorala Telangana and Prajala Telangana", he said, expressing confidence that people's government is going to come after elections.
