The first virtual reality amusement park in the city is spread across two acres with more than 50 games for all age groups.

For the young, and the young at heart too, the best way to take that much-wanted break would be to turn back time and enjoy childhood once more. And Thrill City at PV Narasimha Rao Marg, formerly Necklace Road, right in the city could be the right destination if you have enough time for a getaway.

You can experience real flying here in what is said to be India’s very first full-motion Cessna flight pilot training simulator. Apart from being an out-of-this-world journey high in the sky, this simulator is very close to the real thing. Experience diverse terrains on this amazing machine and learn how to take off and land like a pro.

The park also has the highest splash coaster, a water ride that goes up as high as 15 meters. You get a quick bird’s eye view of the city during the splash. Don’t miss it if you also want to scream in fear and joy at the same time.

Watch movies in the dome theatre here to get an unforgettable 360-degree view, the very first in the city. The feeling is that of actually playing a part in the movie. The theatre has a fully immersive dome screen combined with surround sound that delivers an

incredible movie experience.

If that is yet to get the adrenaline rushing, take a roller coaster ride with the help of virtual reality. It has precise synchronisation of the VR movement with a real-time motion that helps one overcome the fear of vertigo and feel the thrill.

One can also try their hands at a real Skoda car and real Apache bike simulators and while experienced drivers can try those impossible maneuvers, learners can actually get a sense of driving on a real road. For cricket lovers, there is a simulator with which one can choose a pacer or spinner and send the ball over the boundary.

The monster theatre said to have the country’s biggest motion simulator, is a 104-seater with the 25-ton giant platform delivering an out-of-the-world experience. The park has also got some games even for adults to play with friends and family, a food court, and photo spots.

Thrill City is located near Sanjeevaiah Park and is open from 11 am to 11 pm on all days. Tickets are priced at Rs.1,299 for an adult and Rs 699 for a kid, senior citizen, and ex-servicemen. There is even a package for couples priced at Rs 1,999.

Don’t forget to carry an extra pair of clothes and do remember that outside food and drinks are not allowed inside the park.
