Fish prasadam event begins in Hyderabad

People turned up in large numbers from across the country at the Exhibition Grounds, Nampally here for the annual fish prasadam administration.

Animal Husbandry Minister T. Srinivas Yadav formally launched the programme here on Friday. The prasadam will be administered till 9 am on Saturday.

As many as 2 lakh fishlings have been arranged for



distribution of the fish prasadam and 34 counters have been set up.

RDO Chandrakala said already 10000 people have been administered with the prasadam.

Expressing happiness at the arrangements made by the state Government, Bathini Harinath Goud said the fish prasadam was being administered by his family since 175 years.
