Five cases against Raja Singh for bike rally

Five cases were registered in four police stations against BJP MLA T Raja Singh for taking out a bike rally on Independence Day without permission.

Apart from him, Sai Ram Yadav, president of Bhagat Singh Yuva Sena, Mukund Yadav, Lallu Lal Yadav and others were also booked in Saifabad, Afzalgunj, Abids and Begumbazar police stations. “Singh took out a Tiranga rally on IDay from Begum Bazaar to Necklace Road. He had not taken any prior



permission from police before taking out the rally,” said Venkat Reddy, inspector, Saifabad.

Police said around 200 people joined the rally conducted between 10am and 1pm. Singh along with others have been booked under sections 143 (punishment), 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by a public servant) and 341 (punishment for wrongful restraint) of IPC and relevant sections of CP Act.
