Flight services to Mumbai delayed

Due to the incident of Spice Jet plane overshot the runway while landing in Mumbai Airport amid heavy rain, the main runway has been closed after the incident and a secondary one is being used for flight operations, the main runway at Mumbai Airport remains closed on Tuesday morning also.

Due to which the flight services from Rajiv

Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad to Mumbai are delayed. According to Airport sources, since the city of Mumbai and several parts of Maharashtra saw heavy rainfall, the Shamshabad Airport officials reportedly requested the passengers to go for an enquiry before moving to Mumbai from RGIA.
