Food safety officials seize 60,050 kgs coconut powder in Begum Bazaar

The food safety officers seized 60,050 kgs of coconut powder worth Rs. 92.47 lakh from Akash Trading Company in Begum Bazaar.

The officials along with the SOT police team, conducted surprise inspections in

Akash Trading Company in Begum Bazaar following information that it was involved in repacking of coconut powder with different brands, which is suspected to be in violation of provisions of Food Safety and Standards (FSS) Act-2006.
