Former Rajya Sabha Member Dharmapuri Srinivas Passed Away

Former Rajya Sabha member and Pradesh Congress Committee President of undivided Andhra Pradesh state, Dharmapuri Srinivas passed away this morning. He was 75. Srinivas was undergoing treatment in a hospital for the past few days due to health ailments.

elected to the state Assembly thrice in 1989, 1999 and 2004 and served as Higher Education and Intermediate Education minister in 2009. Before returning to the Congress, the senior leader from Telangana served as Rajya Sabha Member from 2016 from the BRS.
