Formula E in Hyderabad, Traffic advisory in place till Feb 12; avoid these routes

Traffic restrictions have placed in Hyderabad in view of the Formula-E race at NTR Marg from February 10 to 12. The Hyderabad Traffic Police have put in place several restrictions on movement of vehicles including diversions on affected routes and have urged commuters to avoid some junctions in the city.

The traffic police shared an advisory regarding the same on their Twitter handle on Friday.

1. VV Statue (Khairatabad) Junction, 2. Old Saifabad PS Junction (Lakdikapul), 3. Ravindra Bharathi Junction, 4. Mint Compound Road 5. Telugu Thalli Junction 6. Necklace Rotary 7. Nalla Gutta Junction 8. Katta Maisamma Lower Tank bund 9. Tank Bund 10. Nampally 11. NMDC and 12. Masab Tank.

1. Traffic coming from Iqbal Minar Junction intending to go towards Telugu Thalli Junction and Tankbund will not be allowed towards Telugu Thalli and should take Telugu Thalli flyover towards Katta Maisamma temple/Lower Tank Bund.

Alternatively, they can take right turn at Iqbal Minar/Ravindra Bharathi and proceed towards Public Gardens Junction Basheerabagh Liberty and go either towards BRK Bhavan or Tank bund.

2. The Traffic coming from BuddaBhavan / Nallagutta Junction towards



Necklace Road Imax Rotary, will not be allowed towards Necklace Rotary and will be diverted at Nallagutta Junction towards Ranigunj/Tankbund.

3. Traffic coming from Rasoolpura/Minister Road towards Necklace Rotary via Nallagutta will not be allowed towards Necklace Rotary and will be diverted at Nallagutta Junction towards Ranigunj.

4. The Traffic coming from VV Statue (Khairatabad) towards Khairatabad flyover, will not be allowed towards Necklace Road Imax Rotary and will be diverted at VV Statue (Khairatabad) towards Shadan College - RavindraBharathi.

5. The Traffic coming from Tankbund/Telugu Thalli towards Necklace Rotary will not be allowed and diverted at Telugu Thalli Junction towards Iqbal Minar/Ravindra Bharathi Junction.

6. The Traffic coming from BRKR Bhavan towards necklace Rotary will not be allowed and diverted at Telugu Talli Junction towards Iqbal Minar Ravindra Bharathi Junction.

7. Traffic coming from Iqbal Minar Junction towards Mint compound lane will not be allowed and diverted at Iqbal Minar Junction towards Ravindra Bharathi Junction.

8. The Traffic coming from Khairatabad Bada Ganesh lane towards Printing Press Junction or Necklace Rotary will not be allowed and diverted at Bada Ganesh towards Rajdooth Lane.
