Formulate comprehensive plan for fisheries, sheep rearing: KCR

CM KCR has directed the officials concerned to formulate a comprehensive plan for fisheries and sheep rearing.Chairing a high-level review meeting on fisheries, Sheep rearing and Dairy development at Pragathi Bhavan here yesterday, Mr Rao instructed the officers concerned to formulate, on a war-footing, a comprehensive plan for fisheries and sheep rearing.

breeding centres and similarly, for the sheep rearing and supplying parallel in 30 districts of the State except in Hyderabad. In future, the state should be able to export fish and sheep to the other States, KCR said.

KCR said that at medium and major irrigation reservoir sites, water is available in abundance throughout the year and such reservoirs should be utilized for the development of fisheries.
