In a rare achievement, four daughters of a couple secured MBBS seats in different medical colleges in the last six years.
The couple, Konka Ramachandram and Sarada, had four daughters. While Mamatha, the eldest of the four, joined MBBS in 2018 and completed her degree, the second one Madhavi joined MBBS in 2020.
The couple’s twin daughters Rohini and Roshini
cracked the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) by scoring 587 and 536 marks respectively and got admission in MBBS this year.
When the couple met with former Minister T Harish Rao seeking financial aid to meet their hostel expenses, Rao congratulated them and assured all support. Rao said Mamatha, Madhavi, Rohini and Roshini had become a source of inspiration for the younger generation.
