Hyderabad: Four students died by suicide in the state in connection with declaration of the Intermediate exam results, including one who resorted to the extreme step out of fear that she would not pass. Petbasheerabad said an Intermediate student died allegedly by suicide, hours before the results were to be announced. She had reportedly greeted a friend on her birthday before taking the extreme step. Her body was found by her
parents on Tuesday morning. At YSR Colony,
Nagole police reported the death of a 17-year-old first-year BIPC student. She was alone at home at that time. Sanathanagar police said a 16-year-old died by suicide at his house in Avantinagar. A report from Karimnagar said a 17-year-old student died by suicide in Palakurthi mandal of Peddapalli district.
