Four students from the NALSAR university were tested positive for the H1N1 virus on Monday. The four female students were admitted to the state-run Gandhi hospital on Sunday evening.
“All four students are in a stable condition. Although they were stable when brought in, they were admitted as a precautionary measure.
During tests they were found to be positive and have been kept isolated from other patients,” said Dr P Sharavan Kumar, superintendent, Gandhi hospital. The four students are from different parts of the state but have been residing at the law university, sparking fears of the virus spreading in the university.
