Free food at all Annapurna centres

The State government decided to offer free food at all the Rs. 5 Annapurna meals centres from Thursday.

A decision to this effect was taken following instructions from Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao here on



Wednesday.

The idea is to ensure no one goes hungry, especially the daily wage workers, during the lockdown, according to Mayor B Rammohan.

Presently, there are 150 centres offering Annapurna meals located in different parts of the ctiy.
