Fresh protests in Hyderabad University

University of Hyderabad students  once again went on a protest demanding resignation of vice-chancellor Appa Rao Podile on Wednesday morning. Protests were on both inside and outside the campus. Some of the protesting students have been arrested by the



police.

Appa Rao's office was vandalised by some  students on his return to campus after  a two-month leave following widespread protests and condemnation of his role in the suspension of five Dalit students and subsequent suicide of Rohith Vemula.
