The police got a shot
in the arm with Nayeem’s brother Fayeem and his wife Shaheena surrendering
before the Rajendranagar court on Friday. The duo was also named as accused by
the police in several cases of extortion.
The court remanded the duo in judicial custody for 14 days. They were later shifted to Chanchalguda Central Prison. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) may file a petition in the court for police custody for interrogation.
