Get water connections through HMWSSB app

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) has developed a new app for people seeking new water connections. The app is in keeping with the promise of the Telangana government to provide tap connections to every household under the Mission Bhagiratha scheme.

The water board is also promoting the slogan ‘My water connection-My Right’ to ensure people get tap



connections.

Currently, a property owner has to apply for a connection either online or by visiting a nearby HMWS&SB circle office, HMWS&SB director-revenue B Vijay Kumar Reddy told. Now, people can apply for a new connection through the app using one’s smartphone.In the app, the applicant has to fill mandatory information, including property (residential/commercial), size of pipeline connection, address and other information.
