GHMC approved 95 acre land for 2-BHK scheme

The GHMC standing committee has approved the acquisition of 95 acres land for constructing houses with an estimate of ` 33.25 crore under the two-bedroom housing project.A total of 13 agendas were approved by the standing committee on Thursday.

The committee has also amended medical insurance up to ` 5 lakh for corporators. Five members from the corporators' family can be nominated for the insurance. The administrative sanction for the construction of a drain in Alwal circle with an estimate



of ` 2.25 crore has been approved.

The proposal to reconstruct the vegetable market in Patancheru with an estimate of ` 3.95 crore has also been approved by the standing committee.

Further, the committee approved the amendment of constructing reaming houses in Abdullapurmet and Jawahar Nagar sanctioned under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Hyderabad mayor Bonthu Rammohan.
