GHMC begins crackdown on illegal hoardings in Hyderabad city

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation on Monday began demolition of such structures in Masjidbanda near Chirec School in the West Zone and other areas.

The GHMC has identified 333 unauthorized hoardings across the city. As the Municipal Corporation



lacks necessary equipment and manpower to demolish the structures, a private agency has been roped in to take up the demolition.

Deputy Commissioner S. Mamatha and other officials were supervising the demolition operations on the site.
