GHMC collects Rs.16 cr Property Tax in EB scheme

In the Early Bird Scheme, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has collected Rs. 16.69 crores on Saturday alone towards Property Tax for the year 2018-19.

So far, as many as 430,964 property tax payers have paid their tax in Early bird Scheme as on today and total Rs. 328 crores has been collected till today. Last



year’s collection was Rs. 364.23 crores and now the target has been fixed to 400 crores. With two more days to go for the end of scheme, all the Deputy Commissioners and the entire tax wings have been directed to concentrate and to personally monitor the collections to reach the target.
