Justice T. Vinod Kumar of the Telangana High Court on Tuesday directed the GHMC to remove unauthorised structures at Khanammet village. The judge was dealing with a writ petition filed by G. Bala Subba Naidu alleging that K. Jaya Rami Reddy and others had illegally erected structures over land without authorisation and that the GHMC



had filed to prevent them. The petitioner said that the GHMC issued notices and remained silent. The GHMC said acknowledged the structures were unauthorised and said it would take action in accordance with the law. The judge took an undertaking from the GHMC to this effect.
