On day one of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) launching online grievance redressal mechanism, 13 complaints were lodged by citizens pertaining to different aspects.
Among these, six complaints were property tax related, one sanitation related and two complaints each pertaining to town planning wing and engineering section. As a means to make it convenient for citizens to lodge their grievances online, the municipal corporation launched the Google meet programme from
Tuesday.
Citizens do not have to visit GHMC head office or zonal or circle offices for lodging their grievances. Officials will be available online through Google meet from 4 pm to 5 pm, said GHMC Commissioner DS Lokesh Kumar.
Citizens who wish to lodge their grievances have to log in www.ghmc.gov.in portal and click the citizen connect option on the homepage to access the officials through video call. Grievances can also be reported by visiting https://meet.google.com/poj-qrex-hzh.
