GHMC panel okays 9 proposals

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) standing committee on Wednesday approved nine proposals including a centre for skilling, livelihood programmes for youths and women from economically weaker sections. Training will be imparted at Model Market Building in Mallepally. 

The other major proposalis allocation of sports equipment worth



Rs 2 lakh to each ward. The GHMC is divided into 150 wards and all the wards will get the sports equipment. Some of the other proposals included remodeling of Nagamaiah Kunta nala (near Ramnagar) and development of roads from Habeebnagar to Chandrayangutta and Riyasathnagar to Habeebnagar by acquiring 147 properties.
