The Town Planning wing of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) on Wednesday razed 23 unauthorised structures.
The GHMC staff on Tuesday had pulled down 21 such buildings and with Wednesday’s drive, the total unauthorised constructions demolished stood at 44, according to a press release.
Six unauthorised constructions in LB Nagar zone, five each in Serilingampally
and Secunderabad, three each in Kukatpally and Khairtabad and one in Charminar were demolished, said GHMC’s Town Planning Director, Srinivasa Rao.
Rao said construction should be taken as per the permission obtained from the civic body and cautioned that any building that violates rules would be razed down with immediate effect without being issued any notice.
