GHMC summer camps from May 6

The annual Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) summer coaching camp in different sports and games this year will be conducted from May 6. The coaching will be conducted at 730 centres in 45 disciplines.

Candidates willing to attend the camps will have to register their names online on http://www.ghmc.gov.in/sports website. Those registering their names for cricket, tennis and shuttle badminton should furnish Aadhaar card and mobile numbers along with payment of Rs



50. For other sports and games, the fee is Rs 10.

The municipal corporation had launched the coaching camps in 1968 with an objective to train students in different sports and games. The first camp was conducted in 10 play grounds in six sports for 1400 boys and 200 girls with 15 coaches.

During the present year, 826 national and international coaches will be conducting the camps from 6 am to 8 a.m
