GHMC to build 25 more SHE toilets in Hyderabad

Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) in association with corporate companies will be constructing 25 SHE toilets in addition to the 15 SHE toilets that have been set up in different parts of the city.

Governor ESL Narasimhan on Tuesday laid foundation for one such facility at NTR Gardens.Speaking on the occasion, the Governor directed the municipal corporation to ensure proper maintenance of the



facility.

GHMC Commissioner B Janardhan Reddy said in connection with Swachh Bharat Mission about 1,975 toilets are being provided in the city. At present, there were 380 toilets in the city. These apart, 390 toilets at hotels and 285 toilets at fuel stations were arranged by the municipal corporation in association with the respective managements for the convenience of citizens.
