GHMC to provide online self-assessment system very soon

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has decided to provide online self-assessment system enabling submission of applications through GHMC website ‘www.ghmc.gov.in‘.

In the website, the applicants can use the features of ‘e-registrations – Property Tax’ – Self Assessment Form. According to a press release, mobile number registration is mandatory for which an one



time password will be generated and entering which the application form gets displayed for filling in details of the property.

The GHMC Commissioner, B.Janardhan Reddy said the decision on online assessment was taken following information that property owners of new constructions were willing to pay the property tax but were facing problems in assessments due to various reasons.
