GHMC to set up 300 water harvesting pits by February

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has made elaborate arrangements to meet the target of setting up 300 water harvesting pits in its parks and open spaces by February first week.

The initial works related to marking for the pits has been



taken up and in 50 parks, the process has already been completed by the engineering wing, according to a press release.

The GHMC Commissioner has issued instructions on completing the pits and have them geo-tagged by the month-end.
